Organizations that serve seniors are looking for volunteers

Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers who are interested in preparing and packaging food, delivering meals to seniors at home or visiting isolated or homebound seniors.

Level Up & Launch: Meals on Wheels & Lancaster Downtowners

Two local nonprofits, Meals on Wheels of Lancaster and the Lancaster Downtowners, now have a plan to coordinate and enhance their services, an initiative they call “More Than a Meal.” United Way of Lancaster County is supporting it with a $15,000 Level Up & Launch grant.
