Lancaster's Meals on Wheels buys restaurant, plans move later this year
The Lancaster Township location of Mick’s All-American Pub will become the new home of Meals on Wheels of Lancaster.
Kevin Ressler, executive director of Meals on Wheels, said it has purchased the restaurant at 1411 Columbia Ave. for $550,000 and will lease it back to Mick’s for a few months. The property is just west of Jackson Drive, near Stone Mill Plaza.

Meals on Wheels makes special delivery in Lancaster return
More than 300 disabled and elderly Lancaster County residents received a much needed visit Thursday from Meals on Wheels.
The national organization which goes door-to-door to provide healthy meals, home service, and companionship has not been able to run in Lancaster since last Friday due to last weekend's severe snowstorm. Typically, Meals on Wheels volunteers delivery food to seniors and handicapped five days a week.
